These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the NapLadder iOS and iPadOS app. By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using NapLadder, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What NapLadder provides
NapLadder is an educational planning and organization tool for possible 4→3, 3→2, and 2→1 nap transitions. It can generate suggested wake windows and bedtime, record a diary, schedule device reminders, and prepare caregiver handoffs. Features may vary by device, operating system, language, region, subscription, iCloud status, network, and third-party service availability.
Not medical advice or a medical device
NapLadder does not diagnose, prevent, monitor, or treat any disease, sleep disorder, feeding problem, developmental condition, or other medical issue. Suggestions are general and may not fit your child. They do not replace medical advice, direct observation, or caregiver judgment.
Contact a qualified clinician for breathing concerns, poor feeding, illness, unusual lethargy, safety concerns, or persistent sleep problems. In an emergency, contact local emergency services. Always follow current safe-sleep recommendations from qualified health authorities and any individualized guidance provided by your child’s clinician.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for checking every schedule, time, reminder, diary entry, and handoff before relying on or sharing it. NapLadder cannot observe your child, confirm whether a transition is developmentally appropriate, guarantee sleep, or ensure that a reminder will be delivered at a particular time.
Use age-appropriate judgment, remain attentive to hunger, illness, environment, temperament, childcare needs, and safety, and stop using a suggestion that does not suit the child.
Care Circle and your content
You retain responsibility for information you enter and share. You must have the right and any required consent to enter a child’s or caregiver’s information and to invite another person to a private iCloud share.
Invite only trusted caregivers. Check the child display name, times, transition, completed nap count, and note before sharing. Recipients may copy or disclose what they can access. NapLadder does not control a recipient or guarantee iCloud delivery, availability, or removal from another person’s device.
Subscriptions and purchases
NapLadder may offer auto-renewable weekly and yearly Premium subscriptions. The product, price, billing period, introductory offer or trial, and renewal terms shown by Apple at purchase time control your transaction.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account after you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s rules.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Deleting NapLadder does not cancel a subscription.
- Restore Purchases can restore an eligible entitlement associated with your Apple Account.
- Trials, offer codes, billing issues, and refunds are governed by Apple’s applicable policies.
Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies except where a valid custom agreement expressly replaces it.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse NapLadder; interfere with Apple or provider services; bypass purchase, access, or usage controls; probe for vulnerabilities; expose credentials; impersonate another person; use the app to harass or endanger someone; or use the app in violation of law, App Store rules, third-party rights, or these Terms.
Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, supported languages, recommendations, providers, and free or Premium boundaries. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation. Where required, material subscription changes will be handled under Apple’s rules and applicable law.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NapLadder is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or a particular sleep outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost data or opportunities; sleep outcomes; missed reminders; caregiving decisions; or reliance on app suggestions. Any aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid for NapLadder during the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Suspension, termination, and changes to these Terms
You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict access to remote services when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or a material violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.
We may update these Terms when the app, services, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest version. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
