These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern the Rigfolio iOS and iPadOS app. By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Rigfolio, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The service
Rigfolio helps you organize owner-entered fishing rig recipes, components, conditions, photos, variants, sessions, outcomes, exports, and personal pattern summaries. It is not a fishing forecast, navigation tool, mapping service, weather service, social network, professional guide, emergency service, or guarantee that a setup will catch fish.
You are responsible for reviewing your records, checking equipment, and deciding whether a rig or technique is suitable for the species, conditions, law, environment, and people around you.
2. Fishing, environmental, and physical safety
Follow licensing, season, size, bag-limit, protected-species, tackle, access, boating, hook-disposal, and conservation rules that apply where you fish. Wear appropriate safety equipment, supervise children, handle hooks and line carefully, and do not rely on Rigfolio for emergency, water, ice, or weather decisions.
Personal patterns are summaries of your own logs. They do not establish scientific causation, predict conditions, or guarantee future results.
3. Your content and acceptable use
You retain ownership of the content you enter or select. You grant Rigfolio only the limited rights needed to process that content on your device and through optional features you activate, such as private iCloud sync or export.
You must have permission to use the photos and information you add. Do not use Rigfolio to violate law, disclose protected locations or another person’s private information without permission, distribute harmful content, interfere with the app, or attempt unauthorized access.
4. Free and Premium access
The free plan currently includes up to three personal rigs, ten sessions, essential structured fields, and one photo per rig. Premium currently includes unlimited rigs and sessions, multiple photos, variants, personal pattern summaries, PDF/CSV export, and optional structured iCloud sync. We may refine feature boundaries in future versions, subject to Apple’s rules and applicable law.
5. Subscriptions, trials, and offer codes
Rigfolio offers auto-renewable weekly and yearly subscriptions. The yearly plan may include a seven-day free trial when Apple shows that offer as eligible. Prices, taxes, currency, eligibility, and offer availability are displayed by Apple for your storefront before purchase and may vary by region.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation, or after an eligible trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting Rigfolio does not cancel a subscription.
Apple controls billing, refunds, offer-code redemption, eligibility, and transaction processing. Any unused trial portion may be affected when another subscription offer is accepted. Promotional and offer codes may have separate eligibility, redemption, duration, and territory limits presented by Apple.
6. Availability, data, and third-party services
Features can depend on iOS/iPadOS, App Store, StoreKit, iCloud, Mixpanel, network access, and device storage. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep independent copies of information that is important to you; exported or deleted data may not be recoverable.
Links and third-party services are governed by their own terms. You are responsible for exports and copies you share outside Rigfolio.
7. Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rigfolio is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of fitness, accuracy, availability, catch results, or non-infringement. We are not liable for lost fishing data, missed catches, damaged equipment, injury, legal violations, environmental harm, indirect loss, or decisions made from owner-entered records or personal pattern summaries, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
8. Apple terms, changes, and contact
Your license is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these Terms conflict with non-waivable law or Apple’s applicable requirements, those requirements control.
We may update these Terms as the app changes. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
