These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ShowScribe iOS and iPadOS app. By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using ShowScribe, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
What ShowScribe provides
ShowScribe is a productivity tool for capturing voice or typed post-showing notes, organizing reviewed reactions, comparing selected properties, and preparing editable follow-ups or PDF recaps. Features and availability may vary by device, operating system, language, region, subscription, network, and third-party service availability.
Your professional responsibility
You are responsible for verifying all transcripts, extracted fields, scores, comparisons, drafts, prices, property details, and next actions before relying on or sharing them. ShowScribe is not:
- a multiple listing service, brokerage system, CRM, transaction-management system, or system of record;
- an appraisal, automated valuation, inspection, title search, or representation of property condition;
- legal, tax, lending, financial, fair-housing, brokerage-compliance, or other professional advice;
- an automatic messaging service or guarantee that a communication has been delivered.
Buyer-specific scores are organizational aids based on selected inputs, not objective rankings or property valuations.
Privacy, consent, and lawful use
You must have the rights, permissions, and any legally required consent to record speech, enter personal information, process notes, and share content. Recording and privacy laws vary by location. You are responsible for following brokerage policy, professional duties, fair-housing law, confidentiality obligations, and the rules that apply to your transaction.
Do not use ShowScribe to discriminate, infer or rank people using protected characteristics, facilitate unlawful steering, store property access codes, or collect information that is irrelevant or prohibited. Do not enter data you are not authorized to possess or process.
AI and speech results
Speech recognition and AI-generated content can be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or misleading. They may omit context, misunderstand corrections or negation, or produce unsupported text. You must review and edit every result. Manual entry remains the appropriate fallback when a service is unavailable or a result is not reliable.
You retain responsibility for prompts and content you submit and for your use of the result. You may not use the app or its AI features to violate law, third-party rights, provider safety rules, or these Terms.
Your content
You retain your rights in the content you enter. You grant us and our processors a limited right to process submitted content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the requested service, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and suitability of your content and for maintaining any backup required by your business. We are not responsible for the loss of local records caused by device loss, deletion, corruption, operating-system behavior, or a failure to maintain an appropriate backup.
Subscriptions and purchases
ShowScribe may offer free usage limits and auto-renewable premium subscriptions. The current product, price, billing period, trial or introductory offer, and renewal terms shown by Apple at purchase time control your transaction.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account after you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s rules.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account subscription settings.
- Deleting ShowScribe does not cancel a subscription.
- Restore Purchases can restore an eligible entitlement associated with your Apple Account.
- Trials, offer codes, billing issues, and refunds are subject to Apple’s applicable policies.
Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies except where a valid custom agreement expressly replaces it.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse ShowScribe; interfere with or overload the service; bypass usage limits or access controls; probe for vulnerabilities; extract or expose credentials; reverse engineer remote services except where law expressly permits; use automated means to scrape the service; impersonate others; or use the app to violate laws, App Store rules, or third-party rights.
Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, including free limits, AI models, supported languages, and third-party integrations. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Where required, material subscription changes will be handled under Apple’s rules and applicable law.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShowScribe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost commissions, profits, opportunities, goodwill, or data; transaction outcomes; or decisions made from app content. Any aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid for ShowScribe during the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict or terminate access to remote services when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or a material violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the app, services, or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the latest version. Continued use after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
